The Open Gift Standard.

Every project on For the Playa agrees to this before it's listed and attests to it every year.

Open to anyone who walks up. No list, no wristband, no “friends of camp.” If there's a capacity limit, access is first-come or lottery, never curated.
Findable. On the camp's frontage or in open playa, with posted hours listed in the city's event guide.
Marked. A standard placard: what the gift is, that it's open to all, when, and that donors made it possible. No logos, no donor names.
Separated. Nothing funded through For the Playa is camp-only. The members' lounge, backstage, and the after-party stay on the camp's own budget.
Attested. The project attests annually that the standard was met, with photos, and we can verify on playa.
